The objective of the agreement is to verify the existence of water points and corresponding breakdown rates, user payments, distributed water volumes and service populations as reported by three water service providers in Burkina Faso, Kenya, Mali, Malawi and Tanzania.
Five (5) piped schemes in Burkina Faso (Bobo-Dioulasso and Ouagadougou), nine (9) handpump sites and six (6) piped schemes in Kenya (Kitale, Lodwar, Kitui and Mombasa), three (3) piped schemes in Malawi (Lilongwe and Blantyre) and three piped schemes in Tanzania (Dodoma and Kigoma) supported by three service providers.
