World Vision (WV)’s goal was to assess water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) resources, the effectiveness of their programs, and the impact of WASH interventions on achieving WV’s Child Wellbeing Targets for 14 countries. In Mozambique, WE Consult performed the baseline data collection in 2014. The Mid-term WASH Evaluation had two goals: (1) To assess WV programs’ progress in accomplishing their six WASH objectives, and (2) To inform and improve future programming through evidence-based decision-making. In this evaluation enumerators collected data on a set of indicators developed by the Water Institute at the University of North Carolina (UNC). Surveys measuring these indicators were collected on several levels: household, water point, school, health care facility, and WV National Office.
