Client: Uganda Ministry of Water and Environment

WE Consult was commissioned by the Ministry of Water and Environment to investigate the ground water potential for the construction of eight deep boreholes at selected locations in the Eastern Uganda. These areas were located in Luuka, Butaleja, Serere and Pallisa Districts.

The objective of the geophysical survey was to identify potential sites, with enough ground water potential of a quality that meets national standards for potable water.

The geophysical survey was done by means of resistivity measurements in the form of pro-files and vertical electrical soundings (VESes) with the use ABEM SAS 1000 terrameter.
