Hydrogeological investigations, drilling supervision, test pumping and casting of boreholes

The objective of this study ass to assist in developing the concepts for the improvement and new build of water and sanitation infrastructure for the Mbarara and Masaka areas, including small towns surrounding Masaka. Utmost attention was paid to sustainable use of raw water sources, equitable distribution of water among different, often competing, uses (Domestic, Irrigation, Livestock etc.) and service provision to the urban poor.
Hydrogeological surveys carried out by WE Consult found a high groundwater potential near the city of Masaka, able to provide for the water needs.
