Management Information System Advisory Services for National Water Atlas
Client: Uganda Ministry of Water and Environment
The Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) formulated and kick-started the Water Atlas Up-date Project (WATSUP) aimed at up-dating the inventory of water sources carried out a decade previously. The ultimate output of this activity was an up-dated Water Atlas and systems for continuous data up-date. For the completion and the institutionalization of the WATSUP and production of the Water Atlas, continued support was provided by WE Consult.
The Water Atlas was launched and disseminated through a national launch followed by data up-date workshops targeting all District Water Officers and TSU staff.
